On Monday 23rd March, the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson announced that the UK is now in lockdown to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.
Members of KAL and the public are only allowed to leave their homes under specific circumstances, one being for a single form of exercise a day.
While this means you can go on a daily outdoor run or walk, being in self-isolation may result in some people feeling less motivated to work out and consequently falling out of their usual fitness routine.
Several organisations along with KAL have or are in the process of setting up online workout classes that people can join from the comfort of their home, so that they can maintain their fitness and stay connected to their fitness journey.
From dance to PE lessons for children, here’s what KAL did last week and here are some things you can look forward to in the coming week.
What we saw last week -
Working with Les Mills we have offered our members a free link to 41 free Les Mills classes with classes like Grit and BODYCOMBAT.
KAL have also been sharing some extra videos from Les Mills at times to suit our members around working from home and looking after kids.
What is happening this coming week –
KAL are going to share another link for its customers from Les Mills with even more classes and program releases and keeping up with the that fitness goal.
KAL has also been working with some of its instructor to get you that real life KAL workout, keep an eye out for some great videos from a couple of our amazing instructors.
Don’t forget about that Saturday dance class (lets all dance together) and look out for those mindfulness sessions to keep that mental health in tip top shape.
KAL is also going to share the nations favourite PE lessons for those kids off school at the minute with the Mr Lean in 15, Joe Wicks.
We are working on lots of content for the KAL community on social media to keep you as fit and as healthy as possible during this challenging time. So keep an eye out for new content all the time on Facebook & Twitter.
You can find a group exercise timetable for the coming week here as well.
